IoT Research Labs is looking for a high energy and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our growing team and to find business opportunities and close deals. This role involves overarching goals to identify opportunities with prospects and new clients and build them into long-term profitable relationships.
With their extensive product knowledge and understanding of industry trends, BDM will communicate directly with clients and prospects, understand their individual/company needs, and recommend products or services that maximise value.
This position requires tight collaboration with the Inside Sales Representative & Customer Success. Here at IoT Research Labs we value teamwork and feel that it is very important for all members to work as a team.
Providing support to clients by learning about and satisfying their requirements.
Following up with prospects throughout the sales cycle to ensure deal closure.
Presenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to the prospective buyer through discovery calls and product demos.
Developing sales strategies and achieving sales quotas.
Staying current on company offerings and industry trends.
Maintaining database of contact information.
Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better client experience.
Handling negotiations and deal closures.
Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written).
Self-motivated with diligent work ethic, a business acumen, enthusiastic and passionate, ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process.
experience with CRM applications.
Drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities.
Proactive and efficient time-management.
3+ years of experience as a BDM in SaaS/B2B.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
